Monty’s Day Care is a purpose built facility in a beautiful rural location. We are surrounded by fields and woodland and have a large outside space providing an array of excellent facilities for children to discover and learn about nature and the natural world, develop their sensory skills, and encourage imagination and play. Our building design is light and airy and encourages free flow throughout the rooms and to the garden. The low level furniture, fixtures, and fittings, have been designed to provide a home from home feel and to create a setting where children feel happy, safe and secure and also allow visual access at all times.

At Monty’s we aim to provide a safe and secure homely setting where children can flourish, develop, and learn, through child lead organised play and learning opportunities which will nurture their potential as an individual. We work closely with the Childs home network to meet their specific needs and follow the “Early Years Foundation Stage” curriculum to ensure a complete learning and developmental experience.

All our staff are warm and friendly and have a great rapport with the children. The staff are carefully selected and receive thorough screening including DBS checks before they are employed to work with the children. Staff are encouraged to further their training through internal and external courses.

Monty’s shares the site with the parent company, Manic Monsters Ltd which is a soft play centre. The facilities run independently from each other. Monty’s however, has the opportunity of using Manic Monsters soft play equipment as and when required. This provides an excellent opportunity for children to develop their gross motor skills, exercise and experience fun and exciting interaction with each other.

All our Nursery meals are home made on site and designed to provide a nutritious and balanced diet for the children. Menus are changed throughout the year to suit the seasons, all dietary requirements are catered for.

The Nursery garden has a fantastic array of facilities. We have specific areas designed to encourage children of different ages to play safely in the garden together. Pepper and Bean are our resident guinea pigs who love the cuddles and attention from the children. We have a huge sandpit, a vegetable & flower garden, a soft surface for ball games or ride-ons and a wooden climbing area and trim trail.
